Continental Vineyard holds a rich viticultural history in Paso Robles dating back to its first plantings in 1973 by a group called the Continental Vintners. Since then the new owners have preserved the nature of the property and historical landmarks while redeveloping vineyard blocks to satisfy consumer needs.  Much of the vineyard was replanted in 2021-2022 with clean plant material, meant to last for decades to come.  Spanning 516 planted acres, the vineyard produces 17 grape varieties, including renowned Paso Robles stars Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and equally interesting varieties such as Tempranillo, Fiano, Marselan, Moschofilero, Nero d’Avola and Verdelho.

Commitment to legacy is a shared commitment to sustainability.  Continental Vineyard has been certified through the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance for several years. The vineyard’s diverse topography, soils, and aspect create bountiful opportunities, allowing us to carefully select and cultivate different varieties and clones on various slopes, aspects, and soil compositions, all aimed at unlocking the fullest potential in our fruit.
