The SLO Clark Vineyards are located in Paso Robles’ San Juan Creek nested AVA. Certified sustainable through CSWA for several years, this property balances fruit quality, yield and environmental stewardship.

Vineyards have been planted in Shandon for over fifty years, with the warm climate and ample water resources allowing for consistent production and ripeness. Most of the vineyards of SLO Clark were planted over the past thirty years, with the varieties specifically chosen by a single, large winery partner. The original owner sold to the current owner in 2018, who has started the redevelopment of portions of the ranches to better meet current market demands. The Sin Falta ranch has become renowned for the Petite Sirah and Chardonnay grown on its sandy soils, with some vineyard blocks over 50 years old. The Highway 41 and Home Ranch have a greater mix of varieties, with Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Cab Sauv specifically thriving in this warmer climate.  Randy Heinzen and Oliver Matthews lead a highly experienced team of farmers on the SLO Clark Vineyards bringing high end viticultural knowledge and precise execution.
