Meet Steve Ndiritu

Steve Ndiritu grew up modestly on a farm in Kenya with his six siblings and school teacher parents.  Trying to raise seven children on a teacher's salary in Kenya was a difficult proposition and all the children were required to help out on the farm. There was no grocery market around the corner, so the family grew everything they needed to eat while selling any extra food to supplement their wages. While working on the family farm Steve studied at a nearby university and received his degree in accounting. Steve moved his family to California for work and was introduced to the wine industry. On weekend trips with family and friends to different wine regions, they fell in love with Paso Robles. Wanting to teach his children about agriculture, they decided to purchase a small vineyard where they could spend part of the year farming and teaching their children the same skills that they grew up with. Steve has a passion for learning and being part of the wine growing process with his family brings a satisfaction that reminds him of his childhood.
